First things first: I am a girl, and yes,
Tyler can be a girl’s name too.
Phew, glad we cleared that up !
I am the person friends rely on to make reservations for their birthday, and that dependability is reflected through my brand design - it gets the job done. But that hardly means its boring, because I am also bold. I stand up, loud and proud, for things and people I believe in, but I also recognize when the spotlight is not mine to claim. In my brand, this trait appears in the interesting pop of coral amongst simple, clean designs.
Personally, this manifests itself in things like my love of yoga, Ted Talks, and travel. Professionally, this means I seek to work in any variety of roles as long as it's with people and companies whose values I align with.
Whether I'm traveling to a neighboring city or a country across the world, I can probably be found eating local street food. This casual, comforting cuisine provides direct insight into cultures in a way that few other things can. When you wander down the streets of a community and strip away the cultural facade that tourism facilitates, what is left? Street food helps answer that. And hey, my stomach hasn't betrayed me yet!
LA is full of fitness enthusiasts, however, I am not one of them. I need a work out that doesn't feel like exercise. Enter yoga - an activity with a calm environment, friendly people, and an ability to leave me trembling and dripping in sweat. I enjoy starting my day with a few vinyasas and maybe a head stand.
Yes, I love dogs. How shocking! But beyond appreciating the cuddles of my 15 year old Pekingese, I am interested in animal welfare, particularly in the tourism industry. I learned about animal welfare malpractice after visiting an elephant sanctuary in Thailand, and since then I've been obsessed with learning about the industry. I even created a website on the topic! View it here.
Ask me about Harry Potter, I dare you! I've read all the books at least twice, some as many as four times, and annually binge all eight movies. I wear a deathly hallows ring that I purchased on my second trip to Harry Potter World, Orlando. I not only know that I am a Ravenclaw, but I have also roped friends, family, and colleagues into discovering their house so that I could analyze them accordingly. Bring this topic up at your own risk - I may never shut up.
